There’s so many similarities in our upbringing. He was very close with his grandmother. I was very close with my grandmother. We are both very spiritual. He is a giver and a connector. I love to be fun and so does he. We were laughing the entire time. He’s part of my tribe.

He’s very lively, very excitable – lights up the room. I wanted to show his animation. We had tons of laughs. He’s a giver. He wants to entertain. What I noticed about him, he found the good in every situation. I wanted to show that having an uplifting spirit and nature was something that shined with him.

Born and raised in The Rockaways, South Queens, (SoQu) Patrick, better known as Tubz, has a passion for New York and makes his home on the island of Broad Channel in Jamaica Bay. Tubz has had a varied career in entertainment and real estate. The Tubridy family is involved in the Rockaway community and are owners of many local establishments.
Growing up in a large Irish American household, his parents and grandparents were all born in NYC. One of his great grandmothers, Brigid McCrystal immigrated from oppressed Northern Ireland. While she told him about the hard times there, she also instilled the Irish contributions made in hospitality, the arts, literature, theater, music, song and dance.
Tubz promotes compassion and understanding among all people through the arts. “When we gather to celebrate one another, usually with music, the universal language of all, we see how much more we are alike than different.” You can give him a follow @paddytubz.

Born and raised in The Bronx, Noel has always had a focus on community and a passion for education. As an educator for the past 18 years, Noel has taught students from 1st to 4th grades, been an Assistant Principal in both middle school and high school and now works as a Director of Career Technical Education.
He develops partnerships with local businesses and colleges to expose students to a variety of career pathways and help them to achieve their postsecondary goals.
Noel is an avid runner and has done so for most of his life. He trains for road races, distances from 5ks up to marathons, and often helps others in the community with their running aspirations as well. He is a mentor for My Brothers Keeper, where he helps young men of color envision their future and the steps needed to make it happen.
